Wriggling Torsos is a series of photographic, and hand rendered images screen printed and hand coloured on fabric. The images were inspired by Vicki McConville’s work as an Artist and Experiential Arts Educator within Latrobe University’s School of Applied Science and her subsequent research into the human form and movement.

The panels were screen printed at the Australian Print Workshop in the early to mid 1980’s.

Wriggling Torsos was exhibited at the inaugural Linden Art Centre Exhibition in St Kilda, Melbourne, and at various art events and galleries in Australia up to 1990, at the artists own former gallery Artsville, near Castlemaine, and at the Australia Felix Exhibition in Benalla, Australia, in 1997.
